“Everything you have ever wanted is on the other side of fear.” There are so many excuses we make and lies we tell ourselves that stand in the way of making a change, but being scared is probably the main reason we accept mediocrity. Getting out of our comfort zone, embracing pain, even failure is where the growth occurs. Showing up despite butterflies in the stomach and shaking hands, pushing on when we want to give up, and picking ourselves up after falling down is what builds mental and physical toughness. Choose guts over fear and you are choosing a rewarding life.
Lucky Charms (although I don’t really feel very guilty about it.)
